Education Services to Schools

Down Tools have developed comprehensive curriculum resources including lesson plans and home-learning schemes that exceed Ofsted requirements. The learning platform presents information in a format that children can relate to and reinforces the facts surrounding knife crime, including the reasons people carry knives, how quickly both the life of the perpetrator and victim can change forever and the lasting effects of those left behind.

We are pleased to present the first edition covering Year Groups 8, 9 and 12; with resources for Year 6 and 7 to follow in June 2021.  Until the end of May 2021 we are offering our annual subscription at a reduced price to all schools.

Annual Subscription includes:

- lesson plan and E-books

- 2-3 webinar events per year

- school-wide access to the DownTools app for 12 months

- free access to digital database of additional resources

- periodic newsletters with updates and advice

- free access to our Support Line for advice and guidance

You can find an example of the resources you will receive here. Follow this link to our free  "The Lowdown on Knife Crime" booklet.

In addition, we will be presenting a free webinar during the month of May which will provide greater detail of Down Tools' work and also include an interview with both a perpetrator and victim of knife crime.
