15-year old boy stabbed as police appeal for information

Police are appealing for fresh witnesses after a 15-year old boy was the victim of a knife attack in Gloucester on Saturday, 12th December.

The incident which took place at approximately 3.50pm on Ryecroft Road, Tredworth, left the young victim needing hospital treatment.

Three males, a 14-year old and two 15-year olds were arrested earlier on in the week, however they have now been released on bail.

Officers are reaching out to witnesses who may have been in the area at the time of the attack.

Detective Inspector Damian Davies of Gloucestershire Police said: “This was a serious assault resulting in significant injuries to a teenage boy, and I would urge anybody in the community with information, no matter how small, to come forward and to speak to police, so we can bring those responsible to justice.”
