Four men arrested in connection with a stabbing that took place on Faringdon Road, Swindon, have been bailed.
The four men, aged 17, 22, 24 and 30, were arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent after a 34-year-old man was stabbed on Boxing Day.
The victim of the attack, who sustained knife injuries to the back, is in stable condition at hospital.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire police has this evening revealed that the quad have been released on bail.
Police were called to Faringdon Road following reports of disorder at around 6am.
It was initially feared that the 34-year-old man had suffered life-threatening injuries, however his condition has now stabilised as he recovers at the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford.
Police remained at the address on Faringdon Road today as part of the ongoing investigation.
