A 17-year-old boy arrested in connection to a double stabbing in Plymouth has been released on bail.
The teen was arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm in the aftermath of the Central Park attack, which left two males needing hospital treatment.
The mother of one of the victims described the ordeal, claiming that a 'large gang' assaulted both victims whilst stabbing one.
Both victims were later discharged from hospital, one of which has given a statement to the police.
Investigators say that they are keeping an open mind as to the events leading up to the alleged disorder.
As a result of the attack, police say they are keen to hear from any witnesses who were in the vicinity of Central Park between 8pm and 9pm, who may have seen a group of youths, to contact police forward quoting crime reference CR/002070/21.
