A man is currently in hospital after he was the victim of a knife attack in the Lincolnshire town of Gainsborough.
Police were alerted to a disturbance at a property on Northolme Hill at around 1:30pm on New Year's Day, where they later found that a man had been stabbed.
The 34-year-old was taken to hospital in Hull, where doctors deemed his injuries non-life threatening.
Locals believe that the victim was taken to hospital via air ambulance, however, police have not confirmed this.
A formal investigation has been launched by the police.
