Two teenage boys have been arrested after knives were reportedly carried around a Beeston play park on Saturday.
Two knives were seized from a house after the boys, aged 15 and 16, were seen carrying them around Dovecote Lane Recreation Ground.
Inspector Andy Wilson, of Nottinghamshire police, said: “It should go without saying, but carrying a knife is very dangerous and there is never an excuse to have one in your possession in a public place."
After seizing the knives, a 35-year-old woman was arrested for affray, causing criminal damage, and then for police assault after an officer was injured.
The teen suspects were later arrested for possession of a bladed article.
All three suspects have been bailed with conditions as enquiries continue.
